10DLC Updates July 2023

Firstly, we have received notifications from AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile, three major wireless carriers, regarding increases in rates for unregistered traffic. AT&T & Verizon has implemented a significant increase of 150% from their previous rate, while T-Mobile has increased their rate by 25% with plans for further increases throughout the year. These carrier rate adjustments have prompted us to evaluate our own messaging rates.

Additionally, we have always strived to provide a reliable and efficient messaging service without charging for platform access, and we plan to continue offering free platform access. However, in order to continue delivering the highest level of service and maintain the necessary infrastructure, we find it necessary to adjust our usage rates accordingly.

Therefore, effective July 15th, 2023, we will be implementing a rate increase of approximately 7-10% per message, depending on which tier you're in. We understand that any increase in cost can have an impact on your business, and we want to assure you that we have carefully considered this decision. All new pricing is on our pricing page.

However, we have an alternative solution that can mitigate the rate increase. We strongly encourage you to register for 10DLC, as it offers numerous benefits, including improved delivery rates, enhanced message categorization, and reduced filtering. By registering for 10DLC, you will continue to enjoy our messaging services at the current rate, bypassing the upcoming rate increase. Furthermore, 10DLC registration will optimize the deliverability of your messages, ensuring they reach your intended recipients reliably and using best practice (10DLC Routes) as set forth by the carriers.

At this time, your traffic and campaigns on Entrance are sent via unregistered 10 digit phone numbers, a product and practice that has been available and standard for decades.

Due to new regulations and significant upticks in foreign malicious activity via SMS scams, all American senders will be required to register themselves and their campaigns/brands with the 10DLC registry.

Please note in order to send SMS volume consistent to your current usage, please ensure all business information is 100% accurate and matches your correct information. Brand mismatches cause delays in registration and lower throughput.
